As her 100th birthday approaches on January 17, actress Betty White has revealed her secret to "aging gracefully," saying the key is maintaining a sense of optimism. The "Golden Girls" star told People magazine, "I'm so lucky to be in such good health and feel so good at this age, It's amazing” She joked, “I try to avoid anything green. I think it's working.”
According to the interview published by ABC News, White enjoys spending time at her home in Los Angeles, playing cards, doing crossword puzzles and watching documentaries about animals, as well as dedicating time to supporting the Wildlife Learning Center and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
He told actor Ted Danson, who works with White on her ocean conservation efforts, that White taught him "how to live". "It's not like she's just a bubbly, joyful person." he told the magazine. You wake up every day and choose to be that way. I think she leads a very purposeful life.”
